Hello! My name is Jennifer Bayne.

I am a Licensed Social Worker in practice since 2014, who tailors treatment to the individual and their unique goals.

Among my areas of focus are trauma processing and healing, the management of mood disorders, and helping clients get unstuck from harmful relational patterns.

As your therapist, I will meet you where you are and approach your needs holistically. In a client-centered and client-paced manner, my objective is that you will first feel heard. As we work together, I will strive to help you uncover what may lie underneath the issues you are experiencing, and to instill skills to help you better manage these struggles.

I began my educational journey earning both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Rutgers University. I received a Certificate in Violence Against Women & Children from Rutgers in 2014. I am Certified in Functional Family Therapy-Foster Care and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy; and have experience working with high-risk teens and their families. I trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the Beck Institute for the treatment of depression and suicidal ideation and have also received grief training under David Kessler. Additionally, I have extensive education and experience in working with survivors of trauma. I work under the Supervision of Larissa Boianelli-Mason, LCSW, License No: 44SC05392700.

Outside of work, I am an outspoken advocate and activist for human rights equality, child abuse awareness and prevention, and for reducing the stigma around mental illness and its treatment. My free time is spent with family, often exploring the outdoors where I feel most at home. I am an avid reader and a lover of animals. I also enjoy playing the ukulele, practicing yoga, and meditating.
