Hello and welcome to My Therapy Connection™! My name is Caitlin and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey. As your therapist, I will be committed to helping you achieve your personal goals and reach overall positive emotional well-being—however that looks to you!
Making the decision to pursue therapy is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself (or your relationship) and a decision that I applaud you for making. I will assist you in feeling comfortable and believe in the power of our partnership! I believe that you are the best expert on your life—and will meet you wherever you may be in your healing journey.
I hold an unconditional positive regard towards my clients—meaning that I hold no judgement towards you in any way. I assure you that my office will always be a safe space for you to express your thoughts and feelings freely and openly.
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, trauma, negative thought patterns, or if you are overall just feeling stuck or insecure, I would love the opportunity to help you work through the barriers in your life.
“I have a passion for working with couples at any stage in their relationship. I love being able to facilitate partners in better understanding of each other and improved communication, helping them find their way back to a place of connection, love, and trust. If you are feeling disconnected or are struggling within your relationship, I can help you and your partner work through negative patterns that keep you feeling stuck.”

As for my education, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2011 from Rowan University followed by a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2015 from Rutgers University. While at Rutgers, I completed a certificate in Violence Against Women and Children and was awarded the Outstanding Student Achievement Award by the New Jersey Society for Clinical Social Work.
I have been a clinician in the mental health field since 2011 when I began my career by helping youth with autism spectrum diagnoses. Since obtaining my Master’s Degree, I’ve worked with children, adults, families, groups, individuals, and couples in a wide range of clinical settings including: inpatient hospitals, partial care programs, outpatient, intensive in-home services, and school-based services. These experiences have shaped me into a well-rounded clinician who has the ability to help you at any stage in life. I have worked with those who experience depression, anxiety, thought, bipolar, and autism spectrum disorders, as well as those with a history of addiction, family conflict, relationship difficulties, suicidal ideations, poor self-care, and multiple stressors. I have worked with couples with a variety of presenting issues from lack of connection to infidelity. I also have an extensive history of helping others with improving self-esteem and self-love, overcoming traumatic experiences, and reaching personal goals.
For couples, I have completed Level 1 Training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and I am Level 1 & 2 Trained in The Gottman Method. As we navigate through our sessions together, I will utilize the tools and interventions that are most suitable for your unique needs!
Utilizing a holistic, strengths-based, and person-centered approach, I will tailor services to your specific needs. I utilize an array of clinical interventions to assist my clients including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Mindfulness & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy strategies. I also pull techniques from Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, and Behavioral Activation.
When I’m not working, you can find me with my husband and our children going to the nearest playground, park, or on a family trip. I enjoy home projects, hosting barbecues and holidays, and am an avid fan of Notre Dame Football and Philadelphia sports teams. As a busy mom, wife, and professional, I understand the unique pressures that come with those roles and value self-care in my personal life just as I advocate it for you!
If you are unsure about therapy or have any further questions that you’d like to ask, please feel free to contact me for a complimentary 10-minute consultation. I look forward to meeting you!
