Thank you for visiting My Therapy Connection™. My name is Hailey and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor serving clients in South Jersey. I have worked primarily with children and adolescents, but am looking forward to working with clients from many walks of life. Reaching out for help is one of the toughest first steps a person can make in their journey, but I am here to help work through life’s challenges as your helping hand. Life can be difficult at any age and any stage, but my goal is to create a non judgmental and safe environment that promotes healing, wellness, and comfort during your therapeutic experience. I like to work with a humanistic approach, which means focusing on you as the individual, your potential, and your relationship with the world around you. Each client is completely different and working with me you can expect individualized care that best suits your communication style and needs.
I have worked with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, family relational issues, and other crisis situations. I have had the opportunity to spend many years working with children and adolescents and have spent time getting to know each developmental stage and the different challenges that may arise throughout life. I have spent multiple years working for Children’s Crisis and Mobile Response services, meaning I have gone into homes during crisis and trauma situations and worked with families to find the best care to fit their needs. I have worked with clients of all backgrounds, demographics, socioeconomic status, and many different stages of life. It is one of my goals to understand the client as a whole and an individual. I believe understanding all of what has brought us to this point of meeting will help facilitate a strong therapeutic relationship and provide me with a better understanding of what you need from me as your counselor.

I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from Rowan University in December of 2020. I then obtained my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University in November of 2023. My education and work experience in the mental health field have allowed me to develop and fine tune my skills as a counselor. Before graduating, I worked as a Pre-K teacher for many years which has helped me familiarize myself with utilizing play as a way to communicate and facilitate conversation with children.
When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, going out with friends, eating and cooking lots of yummy foods, and spending time with my big orange cat named Calcifer. In my spare time I also enjoy continuing to learn and read to constantly develop my skills and growth as a counselor and as a person!
If you are interested in speaking further or unsure if therapy or working with me is the next step you would like to take in your journey, please call and I will be more than happy to provide you or your child with a ten minute phone consultation at no charge to you!
I look forward to speaking with you, and hope that whether it is with me or another counselor you find the therapist right for you!
