Hello and welcome! I am the Founder and Owner of My Therapy Connection™. I am also a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who is dually licensed in New Jersey and South Carolina.
At my practice, my commitment is to provide you with a safe, confidential space to work through some of life’s most difficult challenges with a competent and caring therapist.
As the owner of My Therapy Connection™, my Mission is to develop therapists into highly trained clinicians and offer therapeutic services to individuals, couples & families. As we grow into a multi-state practice, our goal is to serve our clients by connecting them with therapists whose purpose is to offer comfort, hope and healing in life’s most difficult circumstances.
“I envision a practice that is warm, welcoming, and inviting to both clients and staff. Our practice will attract professional therapists because of its family atmosphere and faith-centered principles, which are to love, accept, and serve each clinician and client who chooses to be a part of our practice. We welcome clinicians and clients of any and all cultures, races, political parties, socioeconomic status, mental or physical disabilities, gender identity and sexual orientation.”

My journey towards being a group practice owner started very young. I received my undergraduate degree from Rowan University and a Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Northcentral University. I have completed numerous trainings and courses. Of note, I received Certification as a Specialist in Functional Family Therapy (Foster Care). I completed Level 1 Training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy; and I am Level 1 & 2 trained in The Gottman Method for Couples. I also received training from The Beck Institute in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is one of the top modalities in treating anxiety and depression. In 2021, I received my certificate as a Ramsey Certified Financial Coach. Through my 13 years of work with the Division of Child Protection & Permanency, I became Certified in “Finding Words,” a forensic interviewing certification for child victims of sexual abuse. I also completed an extensive Violence Against Women certification course through Rutgers University.
Since 2001, I have been on a journey to discover what heals and restores individuals, couples and families; and to aide them in living more connected, healthful and whole-hearted lives. I began my career in 2001 working with some of the most vulnerable children and families—those who suffered trauma, abuse, neglect and addiction through my work with The Division of Child Protection & Permanency (DCPP, formerly DYFS). For three years, I served as Executive Director of a non-organization that advocates on behalf of children who lived in foster care.
I have over 20 years combined experience as a social worker, forensic interviewer, executive director, business owner, and individual, marriage and family therapist. I am most passionate about helping couples, survivors of divorce, and there will always be a special place in my heart for helping teens get through the awkward adolescent years.
Aside from formal training, you can count on me to be consistently reading books on the latest therapeutic theories and trends so that I am best able to help my clients and staff.
In February 2020, I started my own private practice in Swedesboro, NJ. I expanded to a group practice in 2021 in hopes to provide a home base for committed therapists who have been called to serve specific client populations that they feel they are passionate about. My hope is to grow my practice so that there is a therapist available to meet all the needs of our community.
Outside of work my free time is spent running, reading, and spending time with those most precious to me. I am a suicide loss survivor, faithful believer, wife, mother, sister, daughter, and loyal friend. I believe that all individuals and couples would benefit from having a therapist beside them through life so that they can live in accordance with their beliefs, values, and hopeful destinations.
I welcome anyone to reach out to me to see how I, or one of my team members, can best help you.
